If you weren’t able to get your hands on Gallup‘s January to June 2018 survey results, here’s the gist of it. It turned out that employee engagement in the United States has actually increased–the number is at 34% and this is so far the highest in all of Gallup’s history. Ten years ago, in 2009, this number was only 28%, showing that despite the difference not being a lot, it is still somewhat of a steady increase. Likewise, those who are ‘actively disengaged’ make up 13% of the surveyed American workers. The latest survey results show that leaders are slowly starting to shift focus to increasing employee engagement among other business functions.
